Abundance

There were times when words could tell
what every raindrop felt,
There were times when words would fail
to see every cloud flail

There were times when roads saw us home,
memories and woods standing alone,
There were times when footprints faded,
crosses and signs jaded.

There were times when a touch would feel,
of the feelings untouched,
There were times when a glance would beseech,
to wipe off every tear that seeped.

There were times when passion would grip,
mock at the loss of logic,
There were times when reason overtook,
what passion begged to overlook.

There were times when abundance chimed,
perfectly timed,
There were times when emptiness reigned
a perfect hollow,imperfectly maimed.

There were times when I reached my destination,
and felt away from home,
There were times when I was distant,
the journey back brought hope.

There were times when I look back,
how time changed everything,
There are times when I stand alone,
and wonder how I changed every time...

Gyanban Thoughts - A few lines about the journey of life, where we witness so many changes, so many thoughts pass us by, definitions redefine, logic rebuts and reason fly by...without us really knowing why.We just flow and keep moving till one day time stop us,to make us think,of the times gone by..and why...

Angel

Another sun in the sky below
Not for the birds flying low
Ground beneath feels so high
Elation smiles with a wry
Lost in the people world,
Slowly I forget why?

GyanBan thoughts - these few lines are for OSI prompt Angel.

Achtung!! Love

‘Look at this man your honor – he brutally hit his wife’.

‘Yet he stands here so innocently.’

‘Let’s set an example and punish without mercy,

crime against a woman is a crime against humanity’

Headmaster Sam Paul was sentenced to 10 years RI.

Sandra Rose walked out of court in search for her next victim.

Gyanban Thoughts - Munchausen Syndrome is an attention-seeking personality disorder ,named after a German soldier renowned for exaggerated tales, is a predominantly female disorder in which an emotionally immature person with narcissistic tendencies, low self-esteem and a fragile ego has an overwhelming need to draw attention to herself and to be the centre of attention.

In Munchausen Syndrome, this is achieved by capitalising on, exploiting, exaggerating or feigning illness or injury or personal misfortune. The opportunities for being centre of attention can be increased if feigning victimhood through alleged victimisation, isolation, exclusion or persecution is added to the equation; the Munchausen person can then depict another person (often a family member) as a victimiser or persecutor and herself as the victim. Presenting herself as a false victim is also a Munchausen trait.

Au Contraire

You’d promised, to come and meet me...one last time.

Just once, to clarify why you did it?

But you didn't keep the promise…or maybe didn’t want to.

And I remember promising you repeatedly - to never, ever, go back to you.

Today, I sit here alone and think, why did I not keep my word?

Gyan Ban Thoughts - Au Contraire means on the contrary. Every fight results in a new knot in the rope of life. Deep attachments lead to deeper hurt. Then before you know there are only knots in your rope..and it breaks under the slightest pressure.then when it is over, you sit down to think of what you did or what you said...and slowly it loses impact..it loses the sting.the raging anger turns to sentiment and floods back as love again. They leave you with a huge decision to make...to accept the knots or simply move on.

As life speeds by,we come across these tests in our daily lives, sometimes ignorance is the solution sometimes dealing with it.Either decision has it s fall outs.hence difficult to make. There is no guarantee the next rope of love will be knot-free or continuing with acceptance will stop further knots.

Breaking the knot is perhaps not easy as one thinks.Love and time play their part.

Love conquers and time heals.

Heeya

Let me pack some hugs,

Let me wrap some shrugs,

Let me untie your heart seams,

Let me fill your pockets with dreams.

Let me cook some embrace,

Let me garnish with some craze,

Let me relish the tug on the finger,

Let me serve the crawl on the shoulder.

Let me spray the cuddles,

Let me tie the hurdles,

Let me drive to the fun place,

Let me park the embrace.

Let me be your sky,

Let me be the path you fly,

Let me be the ground you touch,

Let me be the miss-so-much,

Let me be the wait at the goodbye gate,

Let me be the ache in the painful fate,

Let me be the repeat of every minute,

Let me be the hope in the infinite…

Gyanban thoughts - Heeya means "heart" . These are a few lines dedicated to those parents, who spend half of their lives providing for their kids, and the other half waiting to hear from them.Children never realize what those spent hearts and empty eyes mean as they race ahead with their lives. This poem is probably related to "Paa" read it.

Oh yes, this is my 100th.
